PARVATHI NAGAR WELFARE ASSOCIATION, Participated in Chennai Tree Planting Activity by planting about 70 saplings in their locality, the saplings were supplied by ATMASANGA and a team of young volunteers led by Mr. Ganesh & Mr. Mani organized the planting on Sunday 26th October. All Members of the Association discussed the need for planting trees in their neighbourhood at a meeting afterwards and several of them very eagerly donated money towards cost of TREE GUARDS, as it was felt that the plants needed protection from cattle. Their enthusiasm and motivation is commendable. ATMASANGA hopes to collaborate with the WELFARE ASSOCIATION in the future to plant many more trees. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW “CHENNAI TREE PLANTING” CAN BE SUCCESSFUL
